Serenity Companions

Who We Are

Our Story

Serenity Companions was born from a deeply personal understanding of what families go through when a loved one needs extra support at home. We saw firsthand how difficult it can be to find care that is not only professional and reliable, but genuinely warm and human.

We set out to build something different — a private care service where clients are known by name, not case number. Where carers are chosen for their character as much as their qualifications. And where families are kept informed and involved every step of the way.

Based in Melbourne's South East and Bayside, we support elderly individuals and their families across the city and surrounding suburbs — providing everything from a few hours of companionship each week to full overnight and complex care packages.

Manjula Reddy

Co-Founder, Serenity Companions

Serenity Companions was co-founded with a passion for providing compassionate, personalised, and culturally respectful care to the community. After many years working in the care industry, our co-founder wanted to create a service that supports elderly clients and people living with disabilities with dignity, kindness, and respect.

With over 15 years of experience providing care to clients — including 15 years in aged care and 5 years supporting people living with disabilities and home care clients — she brings extensive knowledge and genuine compassion to her role. As a mother of three with strong family values, she understands the importance of patience, trust, and heartfelt care.

Her experience spans personal care, companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, mobility support, and assisting clients with daily living — helping them remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

What Guides Us

Our Values

Everything we do is shaped by a set of values that put people — not processes — at the centre of care.

Compassion First

Every interaction is guided by genuine warmth and empathy. We treat every client as we would our own family — with patience, kindness, and respect.

Trust & Safety

All our carers are thoroughly screened, police-checked, and trained. Families can rest easy knowing their loved one is in safe, professional hands.

Personalised Care

No two people are the same. We take the time to understand each client's unique needs, preferences, and routines to deliver truly tailored support.

Consistency

We match clients with a consistent team of carers wherever possible, so relationships can form and trust can grow over time.
